THE LOOKS

The SR30E comes in silver with black accents — clean, compact, and instantly recognisable as a mid-2000s Handycam. The 2.5-inch touchscreen flips out and rotates a full 180 degrees, useful for overhead shots or pointing the lens at yourself in true early-vlog style. A physical lens cap sits over the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar glass — charmingly old-school in an era when automatic lens covers were already becoming standard. The pistol-grip layout feels immediately familiar, with the zoom rocker landing right where your thumb expects it.
