Samsung S760

CONDITION 9.8/10

CAMERA HAS NO SIGNS OF USE. IT TAKES REALLY GREAT PICTURES AND IS RATHER DURABLE. MY PARENTS BOUGHT ME THIS EXACT MODEL (MINE WAS SILVER) BACK IN 2009 AND IT WORKS GREAT TO THIS DAY, DESPITE DROPPING IT MULTIPLE TIMES AS A KID.

Samsung S760 arrived in 2008 as a no-nonsense compact camera with a classic design and approachable layout. It was praised at launch for its ease of use and straightforward controls, aimed squarely at casual shooters who wanted something reliable and friendly.

NO FILTER: SHOT ON S760

THE LOOKS

In pink, the S760 wears its era on its sleeve. The glossy pastel finish feels cheerful and unmistakably late 2000s — the kind of soft metallic tone that looked right at home next to flip phones and MP3 players of the time. Its slightly chunky body gives it a solid, confident presence, with a raised grip that makes it surprisingly comfortable to hold. It’s simple, approachable, and unmistakably retro.

THE SPECS

The S760 features a 7.2-megapixel CCD sensor with a 3× optical zoom lens (35–105 mm equivalent) and an aperture range of f/3.2–5.2. It shoots VGA video, uses digital image stabilization, and offers a crisp 2.4-inch LCD screen. Powered by two AA batteries, it’s easy to keep running without proprietary chargers — a nice little practical bonus.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

• Playful pastel pink finish: A true late-2000s aesthetic statement.

• Chunky body with grip: Comfortable to handle, even with one hand.

THE VERDICT

The S760 embodies the straightforward, no-fuss design philosophy of its time. It’s cute, cheerful, and solid — a camera that doesn’t overpromise, it just does its job with a smile. Its pink finish makes it stand out, while the classic shape gives it that warm, nostalgic touch that modern tech can’t replicate.
