PERFECT CONDITION. SLIGHT SCRATCHES ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE BODY.

Samsung PL120 landed in 2011 as a playful, compact point-and-shoot with a quirky twist — not one, but two screens. Reviewers at the time praised it as a smart little gadget that made selfies effortless long before front cameras were standard. Today, it’s a cult favorite among digicam fans who love its charm and simplicity.

NO FILTER: SHOT ON PL120

THE LOOKS

In purple, the PL120 trades subtlety for fun. The glossy finish gives off a vibrant, candy-like pop, making it feel more like a fashion accessory than a camera. Its standout feature is right on the front — a small LCD that flips the script on traditional design. Rounded edges, minimal buttons, and its ultra-compact size make it as easy to carry as it is to love.

THE SPECS

This little Samsung features a 14.2-megapixel CCD sensor with a 5× optical zoom (26–130 mm equivalent) and an aperture range of f/3.3–5.9. The front display measures 1.5 inches, while the main 2.7-inch LCD handles the bulk of shooting. It records 720p HD video and uses digital image stabilization to help steady your shots.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

• Dual-screen design: A standout quirk, perfect for easy self-portraits.

• Glossy black finish: Simple, stylish, and very early-2010s.

• Ultra-compact build: Pocket-friendly and travel-ready.

THE VERDICT

The PL120 captures that fun, gadget-forward era of compact cameras. It’s not trying to be serious — it’s trying to make you smile. Its dual-screen setup gives it a unique character that still feels fresh, and the vibrant purple finish adds a touch of playful personality. A little piece of early-2010s ingenuity that’s aged with charm.
